    Artistmat - formerly Whisper of My Heart (May 2005- April 2018) - is an independent creative journal and emerging media platform founded by Architect and Environmental Planner Matthew Sanchez Chua.

    What began as a personal space for reflection has, over time, evolved into a platform that explores art, architecture, planning, culture, and everyday life. Today (Since August 2025), Artistmat exists at the intersection of thought, space, creativity, and lived experience - documenting ideas that shape how we see, build, and move through the world.

Guided by the mantra:

About the Founder

    Matthew Sanchez Chua is an Architect, Environmental Planner, livestreamer, and the founder of Artistmat.

    His work is shaped by long-term practice in design, planning, and creative media, grounded in personal reflection and professional experience. Through Artistmat, he documents ideas and conversations around space, culture, creativity, and everyday life - bridging disciplines to make complex themes accessible to everyone.
