Earth Day Action

Earth Day was celebrated yesterday and I'm glad that there are different organizations who took effort in ornagizing activities that generate awareness to the people. One example is the staff of the Manila Ocean Park. They organized a Coastal Clean-up in Manila Bay. Of course, as an environmental advocate, I did participated on their event and it is my honor to be part of their project. Atleast, in such a way I did make a difference.

.....I have nothing to say much for today. All I know is that I'm quite busy reading the book that I bought last week. It is about leadership. You may wonder why did I make effort in buying those stuff. All I can say is that I really want to enhance my leadership skills in order to cope up with the needs of my teams and the challenges of time. Thanks a lot for reading!

The Gawad Kalinga Way

.....People might be thinking why am I so addicted with Gawad Kalinga. Everytime that there's an article or headline about GK, I get to read its details to the fullest. Everytime that there's an invitation and I'm free, I would invite my friends then we'll come and join them. Hmmp...why??? Here's some of the GK Videos that inspire me.

.....There will be new 7 wonders of nature and there's a big chance that some of the Philippine's pride will emerge victorious. There's no doubt that our country could make it considering the fact that Philippines is the center of biodiversity. If you love the country, you'll take effort in voting for the Philippine candidates.

Becoming A Greenpeace Volunteer?

.....This moerning, I was asked to do things that would require me to go in different places including the Quezon City Hall. Good thing that there is a GreenPeace Booth stationed outside the building. Of course, I did not let this opportunity pass away from me. Yes, I did inquire on how to become a volunteer. You too can become a volunteer but first, you need to be aware of what the organization's advocasy. Visit their website at http://www.greenpeace.org.ph/. This simple step would make a difference!

.....Leonardo Di Caprio is really pasionate about his environmental campaigns. I admire him because from an actor, he became a leader that promotes not just "Nation-building" but "World-building". He wants to create change not because he [needs] to but because he [wants] to build a better future for the next generations to come.
